Patricia Lopez Joins Touchstone Research as Sr. Qualitative Analyst

Southern California – March 30th, 2022 – Touchstone Research announced today that Patricia Lopez has joined the firm as Sr. Qualitative Analyst.  Lopez will work closely with TSR’s tech, media and entertainment and youth & family clients in executing a wide range of innovative qualitative research programs.  Lopez is among 13 new hires added to the firm over the past 12 months.

Lopez is a seasoned qualitative researcher with over 15 years’ experience across numerous industries including media & entertainment, tech, CPG’s, financial, health and beauty, food and beverage, banking, pharmaceuticals, insurance, automobile, and quick service restaurants.  She quickly recognizes patterns, easily sees the “big picture” and provides the emotional intelligence required to make the very best business decisions in today’s marketplace.  Having moderated hundreds of focus groups with General Market and Hispanic consumers across acculturation levels, she has developed a deep understanding of cultural nuances and how these relate to the research findings; enabling her to provide clients with rich cultural insights and actionable business recommendations. Her ability to connect with people allows her to obtain deep, underlying thoughts and feelings that go beyond superficial reactions. 

Lopez is experienced in many areas of qualitative research including ad, concept, and product packaging testing, program (content) research as well as website usability studies and ideation sessions. In addition to traditional focus groups, she has vast experience across various research methodologies such as ethnographic research, shop-alongs, dial-test studies, biometrics, online groups and community boards, maxi groups, dyads and one-on-one interviews

Lopez joins Touchstone from Focus Room/Fuel where she was the Qualitative Lead specializing in cultural insights.  Prior, Lopez spent time at PRS Invivo where she was a Research Manager & Moderator responsible for executing both qualitative and quantitative studies and led and mentored a team of researchers.
